For the last 20 years, I worked in construction trade, so I am fairly new to barbering. The opportunity presented itself to make a change. So I prayed about it, and jumped on board. Someone once told me that, “the only regrets in life are the risks you didn’t take”.
I love the historic nostalgia that barbering brings to the table. Who wouldn’t want to be part of that? Perhaps a time when things were simpler.

Hi, my name is Curtis Green. I’m new to Hill City and excited to be working with Jake at the barbershop. I grew up in Brookings, SD and then spent 21 years in Colorado, moving back to my home state in 2020. My professional background is in motorsports and construction primarily. I have always been drawn to craftsmanship and tradition, which is why I like barbering so much. I graduated South Dakota Barber College in November 2021. My goals as a barber are to offer quality services and to improve my skills, but I’m also very passionate about carrying on the legacy and traditions of barbering on a local level and larger, while creating a place where men can gather for friendship and connection.
